Is milk currently safe to drink? The doctor issues a warning of pasteurized dairy

The government is really milking its resources.

A memorandum derived from the Food and Drug Administration announced a change in policy that some believe could harm milk consumers.

On Tuesday, Reuters reported that the FDA will suspend its process of testing skills for Class A and other dairy products after budget cuts and staff, according to the memorandum, amid President Trump’s efforts to remove 20,000 federal employees from the Department of Health and Human Services.

The FDA, which is under the control of HHS, has lost 3,500 roles since April 1, according to NPR.

An FDA spokesman also confirmed to the Washington Post that current limitations will continue until a new quality assurance laboratory has been created.

“Meanwhile, state and federal laboratories continue to analyze food samples, and the FDA remains committed to working with countries to protect the safety of pasteurized milk supply,” spokesman for WAPO.

The news has many food buyers concerned about the safety of their dairy products, especially milk – such as the @cheyford95 user, whose video warns others about the change went viral in the app last week.

In response to subsequent riots about dairy products, popular health and pediatric allergist Dr. Zachary Rubin advised consumers to move from pasteurized standard to ultra-Products clean.

“After all, we are a highly regulated industry and will continue to be regulated and monitored very carefully,” said Nicole Martin, an auxiliary professor of research in dairy microbiology at Cornell University.
