A 28-year-old man has discovered a nine-month-old war with a popular hair loss remedy, describing how his life turned upside down after he stopped taking.
Speaking at Podcast “Moral Medicine”, a man who goes from Chirag said he was living a good life before he started showing Finasteride in June 2023 to deal with hair loss.
He knew friends who had been in him for years without a problem, and most of the online research he showed that post-finals syndrome (PFS)-a condition in which someone experiences severe side effects after stopping the use of finasteride “was not true”.
He won the drugs through him, claiming that the telecommunications company gives it a candy – there is no process for it. ” The post arrived in front of him for comment.
“I don’t know what I was coming in,” Chirag said.
He took a pill the day before he began to experience side effects – most of which were sexual – so he decided to stop taking the medicine, and within weeks he felt normal again.
He did some more research, at that point he did the “big mistake” to decide that he had just taken a dose too high.
“I feel as if there was more education about this, I could have been saved from this syndrome,” he said.
After connecting to the dose, he noticed that he was no longer rising in the morning, so he again interrupted use in January 2024.
Three months later, he experienced a “sharp and burnt pain” in his pelvic area – a symptom that continued intermittently for months before leaving.
Suddenly, he had a “crazy high lust”, so he assumed that he had just taken six months for the medicine to come out of his system.
Then, on July 9, “something was simply turned off,” he said. “I was literally powerless for three weeks.”
And then things really took a turn for the worse.
“A month later, I started doing crazy insomnia – literally I didn’t sleep for 10 days straight,” he said. “It was hell. I was st-scared.”
He also experienced heavy weight and muscle loss, “his genitals changed”, and the pelvic pain returned with a vengeance, making it unable to “sit properly”.
He saw a urologist who seemed to be ignored by PFS, but described him Cialis and told him to see a pelvic floor specialist.
He changed his diet and began physical therapy, which seemed to help in sexual dysfunction and muscle loss – and then he “collapsed” again.
“I feel like I was completely regressed,” he said. “My bones are crazy – which is terrible … I can’t sleep again … I have these rashes that come to my skin now … and sexual function is regressed.”
“Monthdo months, I feel like having a new side effect,” he added. “Really has really changed my life completely.”
Chirag was interviewed by Mark Millich – the host of Podcast – who made titles last month, telling Wall Street Journal that he experienced weak side effects after buying Finasteride through Hims.
Some of the side effects included anxiety, dizziness and clumsy speech. His sexual driving also sat down, and his genitals shrinked and changed the shape.
“Thirty years this medicine has been on the market, and people have been dealing with this all this time and nothing has been done,” Millich said in Podcast. “There are no more excuses for the medical system. This is disgusting.”
Last week, the US Food and Drug Administration issued a warning of current finasterid products distributed by telecommunications companies, citing some reports of adverse events such as erectile dysfunction, anxiety, suicidal idea, brain fog, depression, fatigue, decreased pain and testicular pain.
The warning specifically aims at a Finasteride spray formulation, the active ingredient found in the proportion of oral medication.
FDA said that these current versions did not receive official approval and no comprehensive security data were presented to them.
Telecommunications companies have also set fire to allegedly failure to control their customers enough for medicines in the interest of pushing the product, as well as not to adequately inform them of potential drug side effects.
None of the 17 male customers of the telehealth with whom the WSJ spoke with which they reported heavy side effects believe they were properly informed about the risks.
An Hims spokesman told outlet to its customers “pass a comprehensive consumption that is reviewed by a licensed provider who makes a clinical determination regarding the patient’s acceptability” and that the company communicates “about all essential details and security information”.
How about chirag? “I just want my life to come back,” he said.
