US favorite beers discovered – see which one is most popular in your state

America loves beer.

From IPA to Lagers, America’s preference for beer varies through regions and states, though one brand seems to come out of the rest.

In a recent study by Coffeness, a German -centered German website that publishes drink -related studies, analysts compiled a ranking of the most popular beer in each country.

Using data from Youugov’s popularity as well as Google search data, the study offers a “comprehensive view” of America’s beer preferences.

“Our analysis reveals some startling models and confirms a number of long -held assumptions,” the study said.

America’s favorite brand is Miller, which ranks as the most sought after beer in 30 countries, representing 60% of the country. Miller ranked the highest in the countries on both coasts, from Washington to Maine, Plus Alaska and Hawaii.

“Miller’s extensive appeal is likely to stem from his access, stable aroma profile and strong marketing presence,” Coffeness wrote in the study.

Coors ranks second, a favorite of eight countries, including Arizona, California and Texas.

Three states – Georgia, New Jersey and South Carolina – placed Guinness at the top of the list.

Budweiser and Bud Led LED only in four states combined, despite massive advertising campaigns.

“The 2023 controversy about Bud Light may have been related to this,” according to the study.

Budweiser was the main solution in Misuri and New Hampshire, while North Carolina and Ohio preferred bud Light. (Anheuser-Busch, who owns Budweiser and Bud Light, is based on St. Louis, Missouri.)

Some other brands are the main elections in just one or two states, reflecting localized popularity.

The blue moon is at the top of the barrel in Colorado. The craft -style beer is produced by the parent company Coors, which also calls Coloradon its home home.

“This suggests that Coloradans can appreciate the most artisanal -oriented offer from their local giant of creation,” Coffeness wrote.

Corona was ranked the highest in only one state: Connecticut.

“The Mexican Lager Association with the relaxation of the beach and the refreshment garnished by lime can resonate with the inhabitants of the coastal Connecticut,” the researchers said.
