The way to a better mood can go through your stomach.
Dutch researchers found that a popular intestinal growth helped healthy adults feel less anxious, stressed and tired within weeks.
An added compliance: While calling the sentence and darkness, the new study showed that the daily dose did not compromise the happy heights of the users, bypassing the emotional flattening often caused by antidepressants.

For the study, researchers at Leiden University brought 88 participants with no history of mental health problems.
They divided them into two groups – one received a daily probiotic for a month, the other, a placebo.
Participants were asked to complete the psychological questionnaires at the beginning and end of the study, along with daily humor reports and computer tasks designed to measure the way of emotion processing.
The results were clear: the participants who received probiotics saw a steady decline in negative feelings compared to those in a placebo, without immersion in their positive state.
Researchers also examined whether certain traits made people more predisposed to benefit from the effects that increase the mood of probiotics.
“We found that different traits, especially a tendency to avoid risk, were associated with a greater effect of probiotics on the mood,” said the study of the study. Katerina Johnson.
In particular, it took only two weeks in probiotics for participants to report improvements in their mood – at the same time that antidepressants should begin.

However, researchers noted that probiotics should not be considered substitutes for antidepressants and other psychiatric drugs.
